The mission of the Inter-University Council Purchasing Group is to achieve standardization of requirements, methods of operation, and to buy at optimum quantity discounts. The purchasing officers representing the 14 IUC universities are also charged with the creation of Price agreements (PA) for use by the members.
Founded in 1964, the Inter-University Council of Ohio Purchasing Group (IUC-PG) is a purchasing consortium comprised of the purchasing officers of the 14 State of Ohio institutions of higher education. The IUC-PG has 87 members made up of the 14 state universities, 15 community colleges, 8 technical colleges and 51 private educational institutions.
The purpose of the IUC-PG is to achieve standardization of requirements, methods of operation, and to buy at optimum quantity discounts.
The IUC-PG is committed to open and competitive procurement practices. As members of the National Association of Educational Procurement (NAEP), all IUC-PG staff and members subscribe to the NAEP Code of Ethics.
